Halloween (Or Any Related Holiday)
(I hope it's ok to make a new topic here.)
How do you celebrate Halloween? If you don't have Halloween where you live, how do you celebrate a holiday that has a similar theme (and what is the holiday about)?
I'm looking for something to do on Halloween besides parties, trick or treating, and watching movies. I used to have a party with a friend of mine and her sister, but she moved away and I don't know if her sister wants to continue it. I really don't have too much to do, and I want to do something for it besides watching movies.

You can post pretty much whatever you like in this forum, so its fine.
We used to do all sorts here, we would go to fancy dress parties in the gothic church at the bottom of my road and party above the catacombs, we'd make all sorts of halloween related food, (the green slime muffins were a great experiment. XD ) and we would go on a group walk up to the top of the dark creepy moorland above my house. Its harder to do that now that most of my friends and family are busy or moved away though. But I'll still always make my pumpkins and stick them in the front window. You could try pumpkin carving, I find it fun since I like making things. I found a interesting collection of pumkn related ideas last halloween, the links here, and theres some of my favourite pictures below. I might go for the walk by myself, but its a bit too dangerous and creepy in the middle of nowhere in utter darkness... I'm sure theres various samhain rituals you can perform by yourself to get in the halloween spirit, if you believe in that stuff.

Re: Halloween (Or Any Related Holiday)
That depends on the price of pumpkins. I think I may have spent too much already this year. I've done pumpkin carving occasionally before.
I live in the middle of a quiet suburb, and I wouldn't want to go out very late at night alone.
Baking Halloween themed food sounds fun.
I may look more in that direction.

I love those carved pumpkins. Real works of art. They had to take a long time to do.
And a sharp knife and steady hand as well.

Well I posted the pumpkins I made in the crafts district, it took me way to long to make them all last night. XD But I couldnt take pictures of them in the dark otherwise.

I agree with Ruffian-those are wonderful. Sort of a pity they won't last forever.
