The dark district

You slowly notice all the light seems to be mysteriously dying around you as you walk down the eerie dull street. The sunlight is dimming as if it is disappearing in a bank of fog, and there is no artificial or magic made lights. Its a solid guess that the inhabitants of this part of town are nocturnal. You can hear beings moving around, or slithering about in the shadows, but it is hard to see what they are. It might be a good idea to move on quickly past this perpetual night.
