Drase transport
As you enter the warm stable building you can hear odd noises and shuffling coming from the rows of solid stalls with bars on in front of you. Suddenly a jet of flames burst out of one of the containing stalls convincing you these are normal horses. Glancing into a nearby stall you spot a glimpse of dark jade scales and shifting bat like wings. Then hearing footsteps coming closer you look down the stable and see a grey haired man in plain working clothes coming towards you. The shuffling of the creatures increases as he passes the stalls, some more flames appear with odd soft growls and whinnying. The mans kind face smiles as he sees your curiosity about the creatures. 'I'm guessing you've seen the Drase about in the town? Their the most popular form of transport around here as they make wonderful steeds, always ready to work hard to please their owner. Say would you like to purchase one? I have more than enough to hire out, but feeding and keeping this many is expensive. You seem the right type to look after one of these beauties, so what do you say?'
